Itinerary

Day 1 Arriving Dijon    H-B
We suggest a 2 hours walk through the historical part of Dijon.

Day 2 Dijon to Beaune H-B 48 km
You ride south through the famous vineyards of the Côte-d’Or. All villages here produce
Pinot noir grapes and their names are know from New-York to Japan, Chambolle-Musigny, Gevrey-Chambertin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, Vosne-Romané, Aloxe-Corton…This ride takes us to the central part of the county in the town of Beaune.

Day 3 Beaune to Nolay H-B 30 or 42 km
Go south of Beaune and cycle through the village of Pommard, we enter Chardonnay land and the villages of Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet. We then follow the canal du Centre before heading eastward and away from the vineyards to Nolay.

Day 4 Nolay to Chateauneuf-en-Auxois H-B 36 or 45 km
You ride north through a really rural part of Burgundy. On the way up to the plateau, you go through the market town of Bligny-sur-Ouche then follow the Ouche River before reaching the mediaeval village of Chateauneuf overlooking the countryside.

Day 5 Chateauneuf to Dijon B&B 42 km
For most of the day you follow the Ouche valley down stream. You pass the villages of Gissey and Fleurey. You get back to Dijon centre along the canal.

Day 6 The trip finishes in Dijon after breakfast
