Côtes d’Armor

This tour of the northern coast of Brittany offers many of the contrasts Brittany has to offer. Starting inland from the beautiful town of Guingamp, the route joins the coast at the Harbour of Tréguier. Then, the itinerary follows the wild coast around a couple of peninsulas before reaching the outstanding pink granite coast at Ploumanach. The distances are fairly short but there are a few small, steep hills. 6 nights - from 595 €

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrival at Guingamp H-B
Time to get your bike and have a look around the town.

Day 2 Guingamp to Tréguier H-B 38 km
You first ride north along the steep valley of the Trieux to Pontrieux. You’ll then join the Jaudy Valley to the west and follow it down to Tréguier.

Day 3 Tréguier to Tréguier B&B 38 or 50 km
Our suggestion is a circle around Pleubian, Armor and the little harbour of Lézardrieux. The longer option takes you to the fishing port of Paimpol.

Day 4 Tréguier to Perros-Guirec H-B 32 km
You’ll ride around Plougrescant peninsula. Go by the headland du Château and Saint-Guildas, and you will discover some of the most beautiful coast lines in France

Day 5 Perros-Guirec to Perros-Guirec H-B 25 km
We suggest a short ride today to give you time to soak up the atmosphere and maybe go for a swim out in the sea! The route goes along the pink granite coast from Ploumanach to the west then to Ile Grande before returning Perros-Guirec

Day 6 Perros-Guirec to Guingamp B&B 48 km
A stop-over in the lovely town of Lannion then a trip through deep rural Brittany. Apart from a few villages you’ll go by many isolated farms all the way back to Guingamp.

Day 7 The trip finishes in Guingamp after breakfast
